PostSubject: NATIONAL FLAG   NATIONAL FLAG Empty24th January 2009, 11:07

The National flag is halved horizontally red over white with the crescent moon sided by five stars in a circle all in white. The red and white colours and the symbols of the crescent and five stars stand for the same values as that of the State Arms.

The colour red is symbolic of universal brotherhood and equality of men while the white symbolises pervading and everlasting purity and virtue. The crescent represents a young country on its ascent in its ideals of establishing democracy, peace, progress, justice and equality as indicated by the five stars.
