Airborne Empty
PostSubject: Airborne   Airborne Empty23rd December 2007, 18:49

A - is for airborne
I - is for in the sky
R - is for rough and tough
B - is for born to fly
O - is for on the go
R - is for ready
N - is for never quit
E - is for everything

(Echo after I/C)

When we get to heaven,
St Peter’s gonna say,
How you get to heaven,
How you earn your pa-ay?
(Echo after I/C)

I reply with a little bit of anger,
Earn my pay as an airborne ranger,
Living a life of fun and danger.
(Echo after I/C)

Hey! Hey! What you say now?
Airborne rangers on the way now.
(Echo after I/C)

C130 rolling down the streets,
Airborne rangers take a little trip.
Stand up, hook up, shuffle to the door,
Jump right out at the count of 4.

1, 2, 3, 4,

(together)
Airborne!
(Echo after I/C)

If my chute doesn’t open wide,
I’ve got another one by my side.
If this one doesn’t open too,
I’m going down for a jolly good ride.

(Echo after I/C)

If I land in the Russian Front,
Bury me with a Russian gun.
If I land in the Vietnam War,
Send me back to Singapore.
If I land in Sentosa,
Send me back by cable car.
If I land in the old folks’ home,
Box me up and send me home.

(Echo after I/C)

Tell my mum I’ve done my best,
Silver wings upon my chest.
Tell my girl I’ve done my best,
Now it’s time for me to rest.
