Unit identity

ok this involves the entire company

Please read this if you want to play a part in choosing the school units identity, if you didn't read this or comment on this don't be complaining pricks if you don't like the unit identity. get all your platoon mates involved too.

Currently we are the Ngee Ann knights.. its alright but i have learnt that some or most of you don't like it, and the only problems i have with it is that there is no official motto, no clear reason why we chose it and it is not properly infused into our training.

so im opening the floor again to ideas, any suggestions can be posted here under this thread and no "suanning" is allowed, only constructive critism, most important is an icon, now its knights, i know there was suggestions on wolves.

I want something we can agree on and that makes sense.. Oh yea and not tacky like spartans..

For example here's something ii thought of in 30sec, just an idea, instead of something general like knights, we focus it, into paladins or templar, these represent protectors of peace and justice, + their Armour was just plain sexy, unlike knights which can represent anything. this would make it easier to come up with a motto and colors to represent ourselves (eg. paladins- white mainly)

So please post up suggestions thanks

Because colors are a part of symbolism and can be used as part of our unit identity.

So far all i have is either blue (azure or any other variation is fine) knights; or green ( again variations are fine) knights.

Blue firstly because its a school color, and Blue can symbolize, men, peace, unity, harmony, tranquility, calmness, trust, coolness (i know a lot of your guys want this), confidence, conservatism, loyalty, dependability, idealism, wisdom, royalty, nobility, strength, steadfastness, friendliness, peace, truthfulness and love. It is held to keep the bad spirits, stupidity and misfortune away.

Green Because its an obviously ncc colour, and Green symbolizes great intelligence, nature, youth, wealth, money, good luck, vigor, generosity, grass, aggression, life eternal, earth (classical element), sincerity, growth, health, balance, harmony, stability, calming, creative intelligence, and the ordinary.

So? any suggestion guys? Any at all will be very appreciated. (Im leaning towards Blue)

can at least lean towards very solemn name like make people think 'aiya emo emo'. den when we really do our stuff they get like 'whoaaaah.' and all that.

or maybe something very inspiring and glorious. like can make people hair stand then can feel like some wave of power when [in competitions or wdv] our unit name are said throughout a mic. or some loud-ass sgt or sir calls it out.

my point is. we dont really have to stick to colours.
