Nichrome - (used in resistors in electrical circuit)
(meaning for name : We Wont Let Anything Pass Us Easily.)
(Electricity goes pass resistors and resistors start to give off heat.)

Translate the above ^ to something nice it would be...

Whatever anything or anyone throws at us. We use it in our advantage. We turn it to heat.
We get fiercer. The temperature gets higher. We strike back harder(with heat).

Im just giving a fresh base for everyone to comment and change. Like the word Nichrome.
If it sounds too tacky and doesnt look like an ideal name.give some ideas and change it.

Basilisk-(Multi-limbed venomous lizard, sometimes depicted as giant snake)

Cerberus-(3 headed-dog guarding the entrance to hell)

Chromandi-(Hairy savages with dog's teeth... Kinda representational of us i think)

Einherjar-(fallen brave warriors)

Bishamonten-(japanese, he is the god of fortunate warriors and guards, as well as the punisher of criminals.)

i like the 2nd one seems cool to me.

just a suggestion to add on to the unit identity or rather after the unit identity is confirmed, we can like after we confirm out unit identity make a logo or sth like that

And i like the names lawton dug up for the egyptian gods and stuff, and more importantly we should like make a vote after confirming some options for unit identity because very little people are voicing out in this thread

on the topic of legend thingys, how bout odin? in final fantasy he is a knight riding a horse and is able to deal instant death. just some game references.
